During my time at ScienceAlert, I was instrumental in building one of the world’s biggest science publications.

Under my stewardship as Editor in Chief (2014 to 2017), we grew our Facebook fans from 4 million to 9 million, and monthly traffic from 1 million uniques to 17 million. Revenue doubled year-on-year, and the staff tripled.

I developed and implemented strategies to take the brand from a blog model to a profitable publishing platform with multiple streams of revenue including CPM, native, product, and partnerships. I established scalable content strategies and procedures that carried 10+ articles per day through story selection, writing, editing, and publishing, and was responsible for writing viral stories that generated up to 12 million views each.
