I am the former Editor in Chief at ScienceAlert and Editorial Director at STEM Matters.

I write about weird and wonderful animals for Australian Geographic.

My first book, Zombie Tits, Astronaut Fish and Other Weird Animals, was published by NewSouth Press in 2011. My second book, Creatura, was published by Australian Geographic in 2021.
